Saving money

Ada — Sandy Baumann represented Citizens Bank of Ada April 24 at Ada Early Childhood Center. She helped teach 11 classes of 4, 5, and 6-year-old children the importance of saving money. Each child was given a Teach Children to Save coloring book at the end of the day.

Financial literacy

Tweens to teens enrolled in the FirstWorks After School Program have added new words to their vocabulary, including "deposit, savings, debit, FDIC, interest, credit and balance." They completed a financial workshop on Tuesday and Thursday evenings taught by executives from First Alliance Bank.
